Autumn newsletter

Firstly, we hope everyone has had an enjoyable summer holiday. Welcome to all parents who were with us last term, as well as new parents who have started this September.

At the moment we have six staff; Nora, Myriam, Christine, Ashna, Sharafat and Mannas.
We are hoping to get another member of staff in the near future, so that all together there will be seven staff. We are going to be having a student in the setting, Sakina Saidy. Sakina is on a level 3 course and will be with us every Thursday and Friday, until 17th march.

Keyworker board has been updated. Please see who your child’s keyworker is. Keyworker will introduce themselves over the next week.

Please remember to sign your child in and out, the register is outside the main door.
In the mornings there will be two entrances, the Rabbit room and the Bear room. Please ensure your child enters the right room in the morning.

Collections will always be from the main door. Please wait outside the door, your child will be handed over to you by a staff member.

All clothes and lunch bags need to be labelled. In the setting children may need a change of clothes for many reasons e.g., they may have an accident or ruin clothes during play etc. Therefore, please provide extra clothing just in case they need to be changed. For those children who are not yet toilet trained, please provide pull ups, and wipes.

Important information
Nora will send all parents term times, fee structure and some important policies and procedures of the setting.

We plan our activities based on a different theme every week. The theme for September is settling the children in the nursery and getting them used to the daily routine.
During October our themes will be based around Autumn and leaves. This term we will also be celebrating Diwali, Halloween and black history.

Extra curriculum
Playball will start in October. Letter will be sent.
