Throughout the year, our lovely gardener Pat comes to the nursery to introduce the children to gardening: telling them about where the fruits and vegetables we eat come from, teaching how to plant seeds, water the plants, looking after our plants, etc. The children then harvest in the summer the result of their hard work (usually carrots, beans, peas, strawberries, tomatoes) and get to eat them!

This year, we have also started to make our own compost (using the nursery’s and the children’s homes’ peals and cardboard).

We hope to make our children better citizens of our planet!
